The valedictory session of Three Months Residential Programme on Professional Skills Development was organized in Jaipur by the Board of Studies, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India on 1st March, 09. The programme was initiated in Jaipur at L N Mittal Institute of Information Technology on December 02, 2008 for CA students and freshly qualified Chartered Accountants. The programme helped them in imbibing the professional skills required for effective functioning in business organizations and profession. It focused on the development of communication skills, personal qualities, interpersonal and teamwork skills, working in a complex and turbulent environment, problem solving and leadership skills.
In the valedictory address, CA. Uttam Prakash Agarwal, President, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, informed about the recent developments and enlightened the gathering about the widening scope and pivotal role of Chartered Accountants in the current scenario and future to come. He proclaimed the coming decade as one belonging to the CA fraternity. He also emphasized on the role of Chartered Accountants and encouraged the newly qualified Chartered Accountants and members to serve the society.
CA Jaydeep Narendra Shah, Chairman, Board of Studies, ICAI, also accompanied the President and highlighted the importance of Residential Program in holistic development of freshly qualified Chartered Accountants. He also gave an outline as to the proposed future course of action of conducting programmes of similar nature at different centres throughout the country.
Dr. Dheeraj Sanghi, Director LN Mittal Institute of Information Technology Jaipur in his address talked about the blending of two alternate disciplinesChartered Accountancy & Engineering, as a result of this course being conducted at LNMIIT, Jaipur and stressed about exchange of knowledge. CA. Pawan Parashar, Chairman, Jaipur Branch of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India along with CA. Suresh Garg, Secretary of the Jaipur Branch graced the occasion by their presence.
The programme constituted felicitation of Shri Ambika Pratap Singh, faculty and Shri Kulbhushan Bairathi, Yoga instructor. Later, distribution of prizes and certificates to the participants of the programme was done by the President, ICAI.
The programme was concluded by a Vote of thanks proposed by Mr Shaleen Suneja, Sr Assistant Director, Board of Studies, ICAI.
