These extension of Stay Applications have been filed against outstanding
demand of Rs. 1,27,62,353/- for Assessment Years 2013-14, 2014-15 & 2015-
16 respectively.
2. The Ld. AR submitted that the original stay was granted on 08.02.2019
and the last stay was granted on 09.08.2019. The delay is not attributable to

the assessee as the matter is part heard and kept for final hearing on
24.02.2020.
3. The Ld. DR opposed the extension of Stay Applications in all the three
appeals vehemently.
4. We have heard both the parties and perused the material available on
record. The assessee has complied with the directions issued on 08.02.2019
passed by the Tribunal while granting stay. The delay in disposing of appeal is
not attributable to the assessee. Since the matters are part heard, it will be
appropriate to extend the stay for further period of 6 months or till disposal of
the appeals. We would also like to make it clear that on the fixed date of
hearing of the appeals, the assessee will not seek any adjournment for any
reason. If any adjournment is sought by the assessee, the Stay granted will
automatically stand vacated.
5. In result, Extension of Stay Application of the assessee are allowed.
