ICAI to conduct CA exams from June 1

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has decided to conduct the next Chartered Accountants (CA) Professional Education-II (PE), Professional Competence Course (PCE) and Final (Old and New course), IRM, MAC (Part I), TMC (Part I), CMC (Part I), ITL & WTO Examinations from June 1 to June 15, 2009. The examinations will be conducted at 110 centres in the country and 3 overseas centres including Dubai(UAE) Kathmandu (Nepal), and Abu Dhabi (UAE) decided by the ICAI. These exams were earlier expected in May, 2009. This decision has been taken by the institute regarding the parliamentary and assembly elections likely to be held in the months of April and May, 2009. The detailed examination notification containing the exact date schedule for the various examinations and the examination centres has been issued on the institutes' website.
