All mergers and acquisitions listed are from publicly announced mergers, acquisitions and divestitures of businesses where either the buyer, seller or the unit sold was located in the Nashville area. All deals listed were closed in 2016. In case of ties, deals are listed alphabetically. The Nashville area is defined as: Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Montgomery, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson and Wilson counties.
