NOTICE INVITING EXPRESSION OF INTEREST TO CARRY OUT
                   AUDIT OF IT DIRECTORATE OF ICAI

Applications are being invited from Chartered Accountants firms to carry out audit of IT
Directorate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Eligibility Criteria:
    1. The Chartered Accountant Firm should have atleast 5 partners of which at least 3 partner
        should be FCA.
    2. The firm should have atleast 1 CISA/DISA qualified members.
    3. Firm's standing should be of atleast 15 years.
    4. The firm should have experience in IT audit. Preference will be given to firm having
        experience in similar IT Audit assignments.
    5. The firm should have Head Office / Branch Office in Delhi-NCR.

Scope of Work:
The scope of the work would include the following but not limited to:
        Audit of all the financial transactions during the period 01.04.10 to 30.09.13.
        Variance analysis of Capital and Revenue Budget with actual for the above mentioned
        period.
        100% inventory check for IT assets (software and hardware and intellectual property) and
        reconciliation of such assets purchased during the above mentioned period.
        Audit of all IT projects undertaken during the said period, their viability and the current
        status of the same.
        Physical security of IT assets
        Logical security of existing implemented IT assets
        Desktop security
        Data leak prevention
        Change control on IT hardware
        IT assets verifications
        Any other controls as specified.
Honorarium Payable:






The honorarium for the said audit will be limited to Rs.1,20,000/-. No TA/ DA will be paid in
addition to honorarium.

     1. There shall be no fee for the empanelment of work assigned.
     2. The form for submission of Expression of Interest is given on page no. 3
     3. Queries, if any, in this regard may be forwarded to audit@icai.in. Any communication
          other than email will not be entertained.
     4. Any amendment / corrigendum / clarification to the EOI will be posted on
          www.icai.org.
     5. Submission of Expression of Interest should reach by 25th January, 2014 upto 1600

    ICAI.
c. That the relative of any partner of the firm is not a contractor / vendor / consultant of the
    projects undertaken by ICAI from the year 2008 till date.
d. That the word relative will include spouse, son, daughter, parents.
