Gujarat government asked Essar Oil to pay Rs 8011 crore its outstanding sales tax and VAT at the earliest, reports CNBC-TV18.
Essar Oil touched an intraday high of Rs 61.60 and an intraday low of Rs 58.50. At 09:55 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 59.60, down Rs 2.85, or 4.56%.
It was trading with volumes of 305,208 shares. In the previous trading session, the share closed up 0.24% or Rs 0.15 at Rs 62.45.
