The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) organised an International Conference of CA Students which was hosted by Northern India Regional Council (NIRC) of ICAI jointly with Board of Studies.

This Conference was organised from December 28-29 at Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University.

The Conference was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor of Delhi University, Prof Dinesh Singh in the presence of Amarjit Chopra, President, ICAI,Vinod Jain, Chairman, Board of Studies and Dr P C Jain, Principal SRCC.

The Conference witnessed the participation of more than 1,000 students from all over the country. Various issues and topics of professional interest like GST, IFRS, Forensic Accounting, Capital Market, Role of CFO, LLP etc. were deliberated.

On this occasion, Amarjit Chopra, President, ICAI inaugurated the Live Classes for CPT, IPCC and final courses from Delhi which would enable live interaction of CA students with the Senior faculty at the National level in an ideal classroom environment. The formal commencement of classes would take place from the second week of January, 2011 in 25 centres across 22 cities in India.
