Central India Regional Council, Jamshedpur, of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) organised a daylong seminar on tips to crack chartered accountancy at Michael John Auditorium in Bistupur today.
The topic of discussion was road to be a successful chartered accountant. Jamshedpur commissioner of income tax K. Sarkar was chief guest at the function. He said such seminar would help CA students in clearing the examination.
The expert panel said improving soft skills would help in cracking the accountancy examination.
The first session of the seminar focused on personality development of the students. A senior chartered accountant from Calcutta Arijit Chakraborty talked on executive communication and personality development.
He gave tips to budding chartered accountants on how to improve their personality and communication, which is key to a good professional.
Later Chakraborty gave tips to the students on how to study for the examination.
The chartered accountancy students who passed last years examination with flying colours were felicitated. The students were Neha Sahay, Brajesh Kumar, Samprit Mukherjee and Binod Saraiwal.
The speakers pointed that the passing the chartered accountancy examination requires a lot of preparations and hard work.
The seminar focussed on the needs of the student sitting for the exam.
