                                Notice for enqalement o, Consultants

       O/o of Chief Controlter of Accounts, Ministry of Rurat Devetopment intends to engage
consuttants for internat audit of the schemes of Ministry of Rural Devetopment(MoRD).

        Applications are invited from retired ICA/|DA/IPTSAF/|M/ and other audtt, accounts
and financial services ]n centre and states, Retired officers at the {evet of MOs and above
teveL officers, officers retired from Eudget and finance division of CentraL Ministries and
states, retired officers from autonomous bodies, pubtic sector bank5 and pSUs who have
handted the work of accounting and auditing and retired officers at the tevel of /section
officers, and above from programme division of ministries and states etc, who have handLed
schemei in the Civil ministries may apply for aforementjoned engagement. prospective
candidates need to appty with credentiats and their apptication will be screened before
interview.
      I    Period of enlasement: The consuttants recommended for engagement by setection
           committee witl be engaged initiatty for a period of 6 months after approval
           of competent authority. tle engagement may be extended further for a period of
           six months, on the basis of their performance. However, their period of
           engagement as consultant can be curtailed at any time without assigning
           any reason. No consultants shatl be engaged beyond the age of 65 years.
      2    Scope of enqasement : The consuttants shall be responsib(e for conducting of
           audit of various auditee units of MoRD, preparation of audit reports,
           preparation of annuat review of Audit, forwarding of audit reports to the
           concerned authorities and their fottow up action, vetting of ATSRS, and any
           other works assigned by the competent authority. Audit of yarious units witt be
           taken up as per approved annuat p(an.

                            TERMS AND CONDITIONS

   The services of the consuttants witt be hired by O/o CCA for undertaking the
   work of lnternal Audit for various schemes of MoRD.
   Audit of yarious units wilt be taken up as per approved annual ptan. The
   consuttants shatl be responsible for preparation of audit reports, preparation
   of annual review of Audit, forwarding of audit reports to the concerned
   authorities and their fottow up action, vettjng of ATSRS, and any other work
   assigned by the competent authority.
The consuLtants recommended for engagement by setection committee witt be engaged initialty for a period of 6 months after approval of competent authority. Ie engagement may be extended further for a period of six months, on the basis of their performance. However, their period of engagement as consultant can be curtailed at any time without assigning any reason. No consuttants sha[[ be engaged beyond the age of 65 years The emotuments shatt be Rs. ,10,000/- pM to officers MOs/AOs/Sr. A.O or equivalent and Rs. 45,000/- pM to ACA/Dy.CAICA or equivalent. However the consuttation fee payabte to the consuttant witl not exceed Last pay drawn by the retired Govt. servant minus pension. For other consuttants it witt be decided as per cFR.
While on tour, the consuttants witt be entitted for TA/DA at the rates which they woutd have been el,igibte during their regutar service or [eve[ of equivalence. 6 The consuttants witt be entitted for one day paid casuat leave in a calendar month. For any other absence, pro rata reduction in fee witt be imposed. z After the expiry of tenure, the consuttants so engaged shat( have no ctaim/right for future emptoyment in Govt. service. Moreover, their period of engagement as consuttant can be curtaited at any time without assigning any reason.
