Great American Insurance Group has launched a mergers and acquisitions liability division.

The division will offer primary and excess representations, warranties and tax indemnity coverage for U.S.-based corporate transactions, acquisitions or disposals, Cincinnati-based Great American said Tuesday in a statement.

Roy Reynolds will serve as divisional senior vice president and U.S. practice leader. Previously, Mr. Reynolds was senior vice president and head of transactional and M&A underwriting at Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd. Garry Gordon joins as divisional vice president. Previously, Mr. Gordon was vice president of transactional and M&A underwriting at Endurance, according to the statement.
