Around 1000 Chartered Accountant students from across the country will participate in the Eight CA Students All India Convention scheduled to be held in Kochi on December 5 and 6.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Tuesday, Vivek Krishna Govind, Secretary, Ernakulam Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, said the convention, organised under the auspices of the Board of Studies of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) provides a perfect opportunity to interact with students and eminent speakers from all over the country.
Talks on 'issues in financial management and cost management', 'enhancing motivation and effective learning techniques, 'FEMA and other laws', 'auditing and company law' and 'direct taxes' are planned during the two days, he said.
Prof V N Rajasekharan Pillai, Vice Chancellor, Indira Gandhi National Open university (IGNOU) will inaugurate the conference and Kerala Revenue Minister K P Rajendran, will be the chief guest at the valedictory session, he said.
