Dear Esteemed Members,
Internal audit strategies for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) need to
be adjusted considering their specific requirements and unique challenges faced
by them. This will impact internal audit planning, internal audit procedures and
techniques, risk assessment procedures as well as implementation of effective
internal control systems. Keeping this in view, the Internal Audit Standards
Board of the Institute of the Chartered Accountants of India is organizing
webinar on "Practical Approach to Internal Audit of SMEs" on November 7,
2014, from 04:00 P.M. to 06:00 P.M. The objective of the webinar is to discuss best
practices covering the whole area of building and managing an effective internal
