The residents of the Customs and Central Excise Co-operative House Building Society, Sector 51 held a protest today to demand shifting of the bus queue shelter being constructed near the society.
The residents stated that a bus queue shelter has already been constructed opposite the society so there was no need for setting up one near the boundary wall.
The bus queue shelters are being installed at different sectors of the city.
The residents however held a protest over the location of the bus queue shelter that is being set up.
They stated that with the bus queue shelter is being located near the boundary wall of the society.
This would create problems for traffic movement.
The members of the welfare committee of the society have sent a representation to the office of the town planner highlighting their concerns.
