New Delhi, Nov 26 (PTI) Upset over several provisions in the Right to Education Act, the Waqf Amendment Bill and the Direct Taxes Code Bill, the All India Muslim Personal Law Board today said it would launch a nation-wide stir on these issues. The Board discussed the matter in detail at its working committee's meeting here, Syed Qasim Rasool Ilyas, a member of AIMPLB, told PTI. "We have decided unanimously to start a nation-wide protest on these issues," he said. Some of the measures in RTE are against religious institutions and the Board demands that the madarsas and minority institutions should be exempted from the RTE Act, 2009, Ilyas said. About the Direct Tax Code Bill, the AIMPLB is concerned that it will end the concession given to religious places, religious institutions and charitable societies, said Ilyas.
