As you are aware IFRS are gaining recognition as Global Financial Reporting Standards. Keeping this in view, the Certificate Course on International Financial Reporting Standards is being launched by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. 
 
The details of the course are given hereunder:

Course Fee:    Rs. 30,000/- (Non-refundable) 
Duration of Course:   80 Hours consisting of
   40 Hours of E- Learning
   40 hours of class room teaching. 
Days of Class Room:    Saturday & Sunday (5 Hours each)

A certificate will be awarded to the successful participants after attending and satisfactorily completing the course.

The tentative schedule for commencement of IFRS course in various cities is as under:

Mumbai   -November, 2008
Hyderabad   -November, 2008
Delhi   -December, 2008
Bangalore  -December, 2008
Kolkata  -January, 2009
Jaipur   -January, 2009

and later on in Chennai, Ahmedabad, Kanpur, Chandigarh and other cities. 
 
Date for commencement of registration for the same are below mentioned:

Mumbai   - 1st November, 2008
Hyderabad   - 1st November, 2008
Delhi   - 1st December, 2008
Bangalore   - 1st December, 2008
Kolkata  - 1st January, 2009
Jaipur   - 1st January, 2009
